• -K → keep alive: when running without a GUI, don't quit after the input is exhausted

• -L script-name → after load script

• -m → internal – do not use

• -n → internal – do not use

• -T → tcl_tk gui (default external GUI)

• -U → reuse the helper application

• -w → wx_windows gui (not yet developed)
